Bible Videos App Reviews

App crashes whenever I try to view most of the content. A few videos work, no books work.

I am blown away by this app - it is incredibly beautiful and i love that you can read the story from the bible, then watch the story, then there are interactive maps that include replicas of the cities Jesus visited. The reasons why I gave it three stars are: 1) no captions for the videos; 2) the videos arent numbered by episode, 3) no way to search videos; 4) they dont automatically play the next video in the series. So, if the LDS tech people could provide those things, I think theyd have a lot of people interested!

These videos are extremely well done and capture as few bible "movies" ever have the powerful teachings of Jesus Christ.

The Bible Videos are great but the app is not. For some reason the developers of this app decided to ignore the volume and mute settings on my iPhone. That means that as soon as I open the app it starts playing music which cannot be silenced or turned down. This can create a disturbance if you are trying to queue up a video for a Sunday School class. I finally just uninstalled it.

While the content is high quality, the app is definitely subpar. There is no portrait layout, but the landscape layout appears to cut off the previews. There is no way to sort/filter through the videos, such as by chronological order, but subjects in the video, etc. The music that begins playing immediately upon loading the app regardless of volume setting is enough to make me uninstall the app until improvements are made.

Good job! The application does have sound control. All you have to do is push the speaker icon next to the menu button. It will mute the sound of the introduction music, but allow the sound when the video segments are played. Try it and you shall see for yourselves.

Some closed captioning are broke. Please fix the closed captioning for all Bible videos.

I open the app and its like half the screen isnt showing. Im assuming its because the app isnt compatible with iOS 9. Please fix.

The quality of the bible videos is the best Ive ever seen. Using only the bible as narration the accuracy of the events is unsurpassed. The app could use some work though.

Its not in Spanish... How to set other languages?
